Students of the Month

Each month, October-May, designated staff will be nominating 1 student per grade level, PreK-12, to receive Student of the Month honors. Nomination of students is based on how well a student encompasses the District's Foundational Values.

Foundational Values

ACCOMPLISHMENT - A commitment to achieving and realizing goals/objectives.

ACCOUNTABILITY - Ensuring responsibility and liability for self and others.

COMMUNICATION - A commitment to the open and effective exchange of information.

COMMUNITY - A concern for positively impacting the world around you through the building of relationships.

COMPASSION - Taking into account the feelings and needs of others.

FAMILY - A belief that the health, fulfillment and kinship of family members is essential to sustenance, satisfaction, stability, and/or legacy.

HONESTY - A commitment to factual and objective straightforwardness.

Students who receive the honor of being named Student of the Month will be meeting during 6th period for a pizza lunch, certificate of acknowledgment and a SOTM T-Shirt with the Bulldog logo. Celebrations could not have been possible without generous donations by our sponsors, The Barker PTO, Barker Lions Club and Julie Fuerch.
