NOTIFICATIONS FOR PRATT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
To celebrate and honor the Thanksgiving holiday, Senator Ortt is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Day Celebration for students to take part in.
The theme for this program is “What are you thankful for?” Participating students will submit electronically—in JPEG or PDF format via the Senator’s website—an original poem, short essay, or artwork expressing what they are thankful for. All submissions will be published on the Senator’s website and participating students will receive a personalized certificate from Senator Ortt.
To help promote this program, we are encouraging schools to order posters (11” x 15”) and/or flyers (8.5” x 11”) about the Thanksgiving Day Celebration. These complimentary materials will be mailed to your school as soon as orders are received. Below is an example of the Senator’s poster/flyer image for your review. All entries must be submitted by November 22, 2024, as the nomination website will be taken down after that date.

This form will be utilized when finalizing student placement for the 2023-2024 school year for students who will be in Grades Prek-6. Please remember that we cannot honor requests for specific teachers. Do not include a teacher's name (or refer to a specific teacher as a request) with this input. No emails/letters will be accepted. Please fill out this form by Friday, May 19th 2023 at 3:00 PM.

DISTRICT PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS - Please click on the link to complete the form to give permission for your student to have a physical examination performed by the Barker Central School District physician.

It’s that time of year again...Time to order your class T-shirt for Field Day/Moving Up Day. If you are in need of a new t-shirt, please click on the link to fill out an order form by Friday, May 13th. The cost of the new t-shirt is $8. If you are a new student, you will need to order a class t-shirt. Shirts can also be ordered for adults. The link will provide more information about the order, design, payment, etc.
